Previous project
Buro Happold Ltd
We worked closely with Buro Happold to produce a range of bespoke presentation bindings in both English (left to right) and Arabic (right to left).
We collaborated with a local printer to get the best quality printing and the pages were stab bound. The cover was quarter bound, with foil blocked lettering on the spine, and matt-laminated printed boards.
- Style: Flat-back hard binding
- Binding: Quarter bound in blue bookcloth with blocking on spine. Boards covered in matt-laminated paper.
- Pages: stab sewn

Previous project
Shaun the Sheep Movie
It was an honour to work with local legends Aardman Animations on this project.
We bound a series of the scripts from their Shaun the Sheep Movie in black cloth with the logo blocked in gold foil on the front.
- Style: Hard bound (flat-back)
- Binding: Full bound in black buckram bookcloth with blocking on front board
- Pages: stab sewn
Materials
We use only the best quality materials for all our new and restoration bindings.
Leather
We use best quality Moroccan goatskins and calf leathers, available in a range of colours.
Cloth
Good quality bookcloths and hard wearing buckrams.
Thread and glue
The linen thread is waxed for strength and durability. All our books are restored using specialised bookbinding PVAs.
Embossing / tooling / blocking
We use gold, silver and colour foils for all our restoration work.
