Twelve Poems
Commissioned and published by the Old School Press, this was a beautiful project to work on, and features poems by David Burnett with wood-engravings by Sister Margaret Tournour.
- Binding: bound in full dark green cloth with the front cover carrying a label illustrated with one of Sister Margaret’s engravings.
- End-papers of Canson Mi Teintes
- Slipcase covered in matching bookcloth
- All copies were signed by both poet and artist.

Chesil Beach
Another commissioned from the Old School Press. This book was a true pleasure to work on this beautifully printed volume of wood engravings and letterpress text.

The text is hand-set in the 14pt version of Stephenson Blake’s casting of Eric Gill’s Perpetua. The edition consists of 112 copies, signed by poet and artist. 30pp.
Materials
We use only the best quality materials for all our new and restoration bindings.
Leather
We use best quality Moroccan goatskins and calf leathers, available in a range of colours.
Cloth
Good quality bookcloths and hard wearing buckrams.
Thread and glue
The linen thread is waxed for strength and durability. All our books are restored using specialised bookbinding PVAs.
Embossing / tooling / blocking
We use gold, silver and colour foils for all our restoration work.
