Twelve Poems

Commissioned and published by the Old School Press, this was a beautiful project to work on, and features poems by David Burnett with wood-engravings by Sister Margaret Tournour.

  • Binding: bound in full dark green cloth with the front cover carrying a label illustrated with one of Sister Margaret’s engravings.
  • End-papers of Canson Mi Teintes
  • Slipcase covered in matching bookcloth
  • All copies were signed by both poet and artist.

Leather

We use only the best quality materials for all our new and restoration bindings.

Leather

We use best quality Moroccan goatskins and calf leathers, available in a range of colours.

Cloth

Good quality bookcloths and hard wearing buckrams.

Thread and glue

The linen thread is waxed for strength and durability. All our books are restored using specialised bookbinding PVAs.

Embossing / tooling / blocking

We use gold, silver and colour foils for all our restoration work.
